Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, MD

Dr. Ashraf is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of the Ketamine Wellness Institute (KW). Originally from Southeast Alaska, Dr. Ashraf moved to Virginia for his undergraduate. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).

He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Dr. Ashraf has a particular interest in using his training and expertise as an anesthesiologist both inside and outside of the operating room.

As Medical Director of KWI, Dr. Ashraf is excited to provide the latest in Ketamine therapy to all those in his community who can benefit from it. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors, traveling, reading and cooking. Dr. Ashraf lives in Alaska with his wife, son, and wiener-dog.
