Certified Physician Assistant
Ivy Gwynn is a certified Physician Assistant with a passion for mental health care, specifically in treatments that promote neuroplasticity. She has experience in traditional psychiatric medicine as well as acute clinical care. During her time working with Bone Marrow Transplant patients, she realized the importance of mental health and its outsized impact on the overall health of patients and their caregivers.
Ivy appreciates the connection of mind, body, and spirit and its impact on a person’s wellbeing. She brings a warm & compassionate nature paired with her clinical knowledge to support your best healing experience at KWI.
Ivy is an NC native; she grew up in Asheville and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at UNC Chapel Hill. She went on to earn her Master’s degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and renovating her farmhouse with her husband.
