Pain Infusions
- Cost: $1000
- Duration: 150 minutes
Ketamine infusions for pain are mostly the same as the ketamine infusions for mood disorders, with a few important differences. Pain infusions are typically at a higher ketamine dosage over the course of 2-3 hours.
Pain infusions are usually well-tolerated, with the same possible side effects as the ketamine infusions provided for mood disorders (short-term mild-nausea and hallucinations).
At KWI, while we provide infusions for chronic pain, the evidence of the longevity of the pain relief as a result of the infusions is limited except for specific neuropathic pain conditions that you should discuss further with the physician.
Pain infusions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for applicable patients.
Ketamine therapy isn’t covered by most insurance companies, so we do not participate in any insurance plans and will not bill them on your behalf. We will provide you with the necessary forms to submit to your insurance company. The team at Ketamine Wellness Institute offers packages and works with you to help you afford the treatment you need, not wanting cost to impose a barrier to treatment.
